Kiril Lozanov – Owner/CEOContact Kiril
Mr. Lozanov initially worked as an engineer in the solar industry and later become the Energy Assessment Manager at EcoEnergy. While working for EcoEnergy, he successfully designed and executed energy assessments for two portfolios of wind and solar projects that were profitably sold to Acciona Wind and Element Power. Ranging in size from 20MW to 300MW, these projects totaled over 3,000 MW. Mr. Lozanov contributed to the successful construction of EcoGrove, a 100MW wind project in northern IL, as well as some smaller projects such as Cashton Wind (WI; 5MW), Galactic Wind (WI; 9MW) and many others. He performed a renewable energy potential evaluation for the US Air National Guard (ANG) and US military bases (over 90 locations) and energy assessment studies for over one hundred other wind projects. After leaving EcoEnergy, Mr. Lozanov became the leading engineer at Wes Engineering, where he managed the energy assessments for customers with wind projects ranging from 1.5MW to over 100MW. While working for Wes Engineering, Mr. Lozanov also managed projects that included remote sensing, ambient noise measurement/modeling, and wind resource evaluation/modeling. He has performed multiple energy assessments that were confirmed for accuracy by third party consultants such as GL Garrad Hassan, AWS TruePower, V-Bar and others.

Amy Sue Karshbaum – Owner/Crew Leader
Contact Amy Sue
Amy Sue Karshbaum earned her Bachelor of Science in Land Use Planning, with Geographic Information Systems Emphasis, from Metropolitan State College of Denver, Colorado in 1999. She began her career as a GIS Intern for the U.S. Geological Survey in 1997 and successfully mapped and published the GIS/Data Publication version of the USGS’s World Energy Project - Map Showing the Geology, Geologic Provinces and Oil & Gas Fields of the Arabian Peninsula.
Since that time, she has enjoyed working on a variety of planning projects involving the use of professional GIS and GPS Services, mostly for environmental, Open Space & Trail planning, and Water Resource or Wind Resource Development. Amy Sue has accumulated meaningful knowledge and experience in the importance of high quality data collection, efficient performance in data retrieval, specialized services for various GIS/GPS and inter-agency planning efforts & logistical development, and the delivery of quality GIS database, GIS & Mapping products for client or contract. She recognizes the need for imaginatively revolutionary Resource and Renewable Energy Planning & Development ideas. Amy Sue is dedicated to ensuring a quality product to our clients, as well as sincere professional courtesy to the environments in which we serve.
Ms. Karshbaum is currently a Crew Leader for our MET Department. In addition, she recognizes a strong need for Safety on all of our projects. She is one of our on-site First Responders and is trained in emergency response for the wilderness and/or industrial work site. She has participated in the SAFER Access Rescue Training and contributes, as assistant to the Safety Manager, her Crew Trainer experience and applied knowledge in Industrial Safety, Hygiene and Ergonomics, to the Company’s Safety Program. Amy Sue believes that job safety is priority one and she continually strives to improve the ways we can reduce risk of injury by Working Smarter, Not Harder!!
In her spare time, Amy Sue is an educational volunteer for Buckville Energy Consulting, who provide Small Wind Power, Turbine Tower and Off-Grid System Courses throughout the year. She also enjoys travel, the outdoors, spending time with family & friends, hiking, canoeing, mtn. biking, snowboarding, reading, inventing, and playing mandolin.
